Our hand made Sapele hard wood Pin.

The Pin is our longest board and great for all conditions, big and small. This shape provides a long tail with smooth lines and a deep concave. It allows you make the next section as well as hold your line when looking for the barrel.

It has a stable rocker in the nose and clean rails to allow for maximum rides. 

The large surface area combined with the natural buoyancy of the wood provides sufficent lift when planing across the wave.

The superb water proofing properties of natural tung oil are used to seal each board before it hits the water. All boards come with a hand sewn adjustable strap, attached using our subtle and secure design - unique to Compass Handplanes
