Each Compass Handplane is hand shaped from start to finish in our workshop. Choose from our unique shape range we have designed and created.
Our boards are made from a wide range of interesting & beautiful hardwoods which we source from a local supplier. We love creating new designs so check the store often to grab yourself something bespoke. All our handplanes come with a handmade Compass branded heavy-duty strap, adjustably designed in order to fit all hands securely yet comfortably. We shape all handplanes by hand so our current turnaround time is 2-3 weeks for standard orders and slightly longer for orders with personalisation - depending how busy the workshop is!
